After earning his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine, during which time he scored in the 98th percentile on the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam, Dr. Faubel did a 4-year residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
During his PM&R training, he was selected to be the Assistant Chief Resident one year, and then Chief Resident another year. He was also selected with nine other resident physicians across the U.S. to serve as a resident ambassador to the American Academy of PM&R for three consecutive years during that time . Following residency, Dr. Faubel was selected to a very competitive one-year ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Management fellowship at LSU in New Orleans.
Dr. Faubel is now board-certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) as well as Pain Medicine by the ABPM&R.
